Getting Started


When you open Mozilla, you get a page that looks something like this: 

You create a web page with Composer, part of the Mozilla system. It is similar to FrontPage, Dreamweaver, and other programs for this purpose.  To get started making a web page,

Select File > New > Composer Page, as follows:
 


 

You will then get a page that looks like this:
 

 


Notice the familiar functions (File, Edit, View, and so forth).  The next tier has icons for common functions, such as New, Open, Print, and so forth.  While developing a web page, you are most likely to use Image, Table, Link and Save most frequently.

The first thing to do when creating a new page in Composer is to save it in order to give it a name:
